Mullinahone beat our under-12s last week by two points but we came good on Saturday last against Clonmel Og. We were short some players on the day but the fifteen who played had a great game and you could not pick out any one player on the day as they all played great. The final score was Fethard 4-6, Clonmel Óg 2-5. We now play Thurles on Sunday next 19th April at 12.30pm in Thurles.

Our under-14s are to play this coming week against Moycarkey Borris. We had to withdraw the under-16 team as some players had no interest in training, you can only do so much. The juniors have played two games so far and are out against Thurles this weekend at home. Two junior players have left the club, Barbara Ryan to Moyle Rovers and Sinead Delahunty to a Dublin club.

Benny to run for Fianna Fáil in Fethard
Benny to run for Fianna Fáil in FethardFethard Fianna Fáil is delighted and thrilled to announce that Benny Tynan has been selected to run for the County Council in the Fethard area. Benny is very well known to all in Fethard, Moyglass and the surrounding villages and areas and will be a great asset to the Council and Fethard if elected.

Benny is the owner of local firm A&B Designs that employs 15 people locally and has been a main stay of employment in Fethard for the last 25 years.

It has been nearly 40 years since we in Fethard last elected a representative to South Tipperary County Council and given the difficult and turbulent times that we now find ourselves in, we need a strong and clear voice for Fethard and the surrounding areas and we are fully confident that Benny will be that voice.

Benny understands the needs of our area from a local perspective and will work tirelessly to ensure that the town and surrounding areas are not forgotten again at Council level. We need a strong voice to represent the Fethard area and Benny fills that role completely. We wish him well in the upcoming campaign and ask all of the people of Fethard and the surrounding areas to support our only local candidate.
