Fundraiser for Gaza at Fethard Horse Country Experience on Saturday, March 8

Fundraiser for Gaza at Fethard Horse Country Experience Café on Saturday, March 8, to raise money for Oxfam’s urgent Gaza Appeal. Help rush aid to families in Gaza.
Israel’s war on Gaza has taken a devastating toll on civilians and fuelled further escalations in violence in Lebanon and across the wider region. A temporary ceasefire is now in place in Gaza. After 15 months of bombing, death and destruction, people in Gaza have a reprieve from violence.
Oxfam is a global movement of people, working together to end the injustice of poverty. That means we tackle the inequality that keeps people poor. Together, we save, protect and rebuild lives when disaster strikes. We help people build better lives for themselves, and for others. we take on issues like land rights, climate change and discrimination against women. And we won’t stop until every person on the planet can enjoy life free from poverty.

Help us at RehabCare Clonmel?

My name is Jack Kenny and as a service user at The Mill Resource Centre in Clonmel, also known as RehabCare, I was delighted to hear they were nominated for Boston Scientific’s Charity Status 2025. This fantastic centre offers a wonderful service and are well-deserving of any funding opportunity available. For our chance of winning, we need to gain votes from people working in Boston Scientific Clonmel before March 9, 2025. If you know anyone working in Boston Scientific that you could ask to vote for The Mill Resource Centre RehabCare, it would be absolutely wonderful and greatly benefit the people attending their services, like me. Thank You.

Fintan and Louis Rice delivered strong performances at the Munster 4 Miler, both securing team medals in their respective categories. Fintan Rice ran 23.56, claiming 3rd place in the Over-60 category and playing a key role in the Over-50 county team, which secured silver. He has had a fantastic cross-country season and is now bringing that strong form onto the road. Well done, Fintan!
Louis Rice clocked 21.41, contributing to both the Novice county team and Senior county team, each earning bronze medals. He has been working extremely hard to get back to the racing field, and it was great to see him back in action after a long injury. No doubt, we’ll be seeing plenty more from him in the months ahead! A great day for Fethard AC! Well done Fintan and Louis.
