we we the the the the the members and and and relatives of of of the the the the the Lee Lee Lee family formally marked the the the the centenary of of of Tommy Lee’s death In In doing so so we try to remind ourselves why he he he he and and so so many others got involved involved and and and remained involved involved in in in in in in the the struggle for for national inde- pendence The hurt and and consequences of his his death for for his his own immediate family will also be explored Tommy Lee Lee was was born on on November 3 1900 the fourth child of William Lee Lee Lee and Bridget Betts He was was shot by Crown Forces on on Friday March 4 1921 At the the the time of of his death the the the Lee Lee family lived and and farmed in the the the small townland of of Brodeen just outside
