Killusty Pony Show
'Goldengrove Skyfall' winner of Champion of Champions at Killusty Show, owned by William and Aidan Williamson, and sponsored by AIB Fethard, L to R: Pat Culligan (Killustyy Show), John Palmer (AIB Fethard), Aidan Williamson and Mrs Rachael Bennett Hamilton Judge
Killusty Pony Show would like to thank everybody who was involved in their very successful 52nd annual show held at Claremore, Killusty, on Saturday, July 5, from the guys on the gate, to the lads involved in getting everyone parked in an orderly manner, to the stewards in the rings who tirelessly kept everything on track as best they could even through those heavy downpours, to our judges who give up their time and in some cases who travel some distances to share their valuable knowledge, to the ladies in the catering who looked after 175 people on the day. These ladies were first to arrive on Saturday morning and last to leave that night, never mind all the work they put in organising everything in the weeks leading up to the show. The food was absolutely fabulous.

We also thank our exhibitors who came and hope you enjoyed the experience. We had approximately 220 ponies taking part along with a huge variety of dogs in the dog show. Again this year our sponsors turned up trumps for without their financial support, Killusty Show would not be able to continue. Thank you to our announcers who worked very hard all day and to all who presented prizes. Thanks also to the landowners for allowing us to use their fields and to everybody who helped out in the secretary's tent.
It was a huge task and it was brilliant to see everybody pulling together to lighten the load. Here's to next years show!
