Ms Noreen Evans, SRN, SCM, Congress Terrace, assistant matron, The National Maternity Hospital, has recently retired.
Noreen has spent 45 years of dedicated nursing in England, America and Ireland.
We wish her any happy years in retirement in her native town.

Fethard Historical Society were very pleased at the large number who attended the book launch of Fethard, Co. Tipperary, a Guide to the Medieval Town, by Dr. Tadgh O’Keeffe, in the Abymill on Friday night last.
The book, a most attractive and informative publication, is on sale locally at £3.
The society would like to acknowledge the help of Tipperary Leader Group who part-funded the project and Superquinn, Clonmel, who sponsored the cheese and wine reception.
